1971 Plymouth Roadrunner in Lemon Twist Yellow with a gold brocade deluxe interior, black Strobe Stripes, black hood stripes, black chin spoilers, black rear wing, and Magnum 500 wheels. MATCHING NUMBERS, VERY RARE EARLY 340 CAR (BUILD DATE 12/70) IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!! The matching numbers 340 engine has been upgraded with an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley Dual Feed 650cfm carburetor, wild Mopar PurpleShaft cam, Hooker headers, and Mopar electronic ignition system. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note and that great sounding cam. There are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises; runs nicely on premium pump gas, and the matching numbers VIN is still clearly visible on the block pad. LIGHTS 'EM UP WHEN YOU PUNCH IT, PULLS HARD THROUGH THE REV RANGE, AND A DEEP AGGRESSIVE EXHAUST NOTE LIKE A MOPAR SHOULD!! RUNS STRONGER THAN A 383 CAR AND HANDLES BETTER DUE TO THE LOWER WEIGHT OF THE 340. The matching numbers 727 Torqueflite shifts perfectly and the 3.91 SureGrip rearend provides strong acceleration and reasonable cruising. Power steering and big brakes for safe easy driving.
