1970 Ford Thunderbird 2-Door Brougham Coupe in beautiful Chestnut Bronze Metallic with a black padded vinyl top, Nutmeg quilted brocade interior, and deluxe factory wheel covers. Absolutely beautiful Thunderbird with the optional top-of-the-line Brougham trim and only 27,148 miles!! The original N-code 429 / 365 horsepower engine is the most powerful engine ever installed in a Thunderbird and is 100% factory stock and unmodified; still fitted with the original 4-barrel Motorcraft carburetor, original electronic ignition, and original aircleaner assembly. Fires right up and settles into a smooth idle with a quiet exhaust note from the factory dual exhaust. Runs nicely on premium pump gas and with 365 horsepower & 500 lb.ft. of torque, accelerates very well. The original C6 automatic transmission shifts perfectly and the factory 2.73 rearend allows relaxed highway driving. Power steering and power disc brakes. Stunning original interior in Nutmeg colored quilted brocade cloth. No wear on the original seats, no wear on the original carpets, no wear on the original armrests. Power windows and power door locks; work correctly. Factory climate control air conditioning; blows ice cold. Tilt steering column. Perfect condition Rim-Blow steering wheel. Power six way seat with the center armrest. Remote side mirror. Overheard console with warning lights for door ajar and low fuel level. Factory Rallye gauges for Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Amps. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly when you press the buttons. Factory cornering lamps illuminate when the turn signals are actuated. Factory sequential turn signals; work correctly. Excellent window whiskers, weatherstripping, and trunk seal. Excellent brightwork and polished trim. Factory padded vinyl top with the Thunderbird emblems. Original Deluxe wheelcovers and excellent Michelin P225-75-15 radial whitewall tires. The trunk contains the original excellent trunk carpeting, spare tire, and jack assembly. Just professionally detailed, polished, hand waxed and turnkey ready for cruises and shows; drives like a new car. The Brougham package includes the padded top, quilted brocade interior, and dressy wheelcovers. EXTREMELY NICE SPORTY LUXURY CAR (these are great looking cars)!! ....and yes, the miles really are only 27,148!
