1969 Dodge Charger 383 4-Speed in gorgeous Bright Red with a white tail stripe, black bucket seats, chrome Magnum 500 wheels, and raised-white-letter Firestone radials. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL FACTORY 4-SPEED 383 MAGNUM CHARGER WITH ONLY 70,436 ACTUAL MILES AND ONE OF ONLY 204 PRODUCED. The matching numbers 383 Magnum engine has been rebuilt and upgraded with a Mopar PurpleShaft 509 lift cam, Holley 650cfm carburetor, Mallory ignition system, ceramic coated headers, and a dual FlowMaster exhaust. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note and that great sounding cam. Nails you back in the seat when you punch it and pulls HARD through the rev range. Runs nicely on pump gas and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. The 4-speed manual transmission (correct but non-matching numbers) shifts perfectly and the original 3.23 SureGrip positraction rearend provides both strong acceleration and relaxed cruising. No power steering (steers easily) and an expensive Wilwood disc brake conversion has been installed on the front. Excellent black bucket seat interior professionally reupholstered with new correct Legendary seat covers front & rear and a new full carpet kit. Excellent original dash with no heat cracks and with the factory 150 mph speedometer and factory Rallye gauges for Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, and Amps. Factory wood steering wheel in very good condition. Factory thumbwheel AM radio still in place (disconnected). Perfectly straight body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any body filler anywhere. Panel fit is excellent, all gaps are factory perfect, and the underside is painted Bright Red. Beautiful R6 code Bright Red paint done in modern acrylic urethane base/clear and then block sanded and buffed to a smooth glossy finish and a white tail stripe applied. Show chromed front & rear bumpers. Excellent brightwork and stainless steel trim. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Brand new weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk molding. Brand new chrome door handles. Factory Hide-Away headlights operate correctly. Factory Blinker hood. Brand new chrome Magnum 500 wheels fitted with brand new raised-white-letter P235-60-14 Firestone Radials. The trunk and engine compartment are correctly painted Bright Red and a chrome dress-up kit has been added to the engine. The Build Sheet is included with the car. VERY VERY NICE!!
