1969 Plymouth Barracuda 340 Fastback in beautiful F5 Limelight Green Metallic with black side stripes, white interior, and RedLine Wide Ovals. Frame-off restored, genuine 340 P-code fastback in show condition with factory air conditioning! The correct but nonmatching 340 engine has been rebuilt with a hot street Mopar cam and Holley 600cfm 4-barrel carburetor, and is still fitted with the factory upswept HP exhaust manifolds, factory cast iron intake manifold, factory electronic ignition, and factory air cleaner assembly. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep exhaust note from the dual FlowMasters and that great sounding cam. Pulls hard through the rev range, runs nicely on premium pump gas, and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. The original 727 Torqueflite transmission shifts perfectly and the 3.23 SureGrip rearend provides relaxed cruising. Power steering and power brakes. Beautiful white interior with the center armrest bench front seat and fold down rear seat. The dash has been professionally restored and looks factory new; no pitting, no sunfade, no marks. Original three-spoke Sport steering wheel in excellent condition with no cracks and no wear. 120 mph speedometer and factory Rallye gauges for Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, Amps, & Fuel Level (all work correctly). Ice cold factory air conditioning. Factory thumbwheel AM radio (not connected). Remote side mirror. Brand new full carpet kit. Excellent headliner, excellent dash pad, excellent inner door panels front & rear. No wear on any of the controls, no wear on the pedals, no wear on the knobs (the interior of this car is absolutely flawless). Perfectly straight body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any patch panels or any body filler. All gaps are factory perfect, all original body stamps are present, and the underside is beautifully finished in chassis black paint. Lovely paint in the correct F5 Limelight Green Metallic done in modern acrylic urethane base/clear to show standards. No chips, no nicks, no flaws, and with a smooth shiny finish and a deep luster. Correct black side stripes. Show chromed front & rear bumpers. Show chromed door handles and professionally polished brightwork. Excellent front grilles and rear tail panel. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Excellent weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk seal. The trunk contains the original spare tire, trunk mat, and jack assembly. Fender-mounted turn signal indicators. Quik-Flip gas filler. Correctly painted steel wheels with the correct dog dish hubcaps and fitted with correct E70-15 Firestone red line Wide Ovals. Just professionally detailed, buffed, hand waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Just passed stringent Virginia State Safety Inspection and the current sticker is in the windshield. Last year of the second generation Barracuda and this is the nicest one that I have seen in years. VERY VERY NICE CAR!!
