Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with deep exhaust note from the correct dual exhaust. Runs nicely on pump gas and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. Pulls HARD through the rev range and runs like a SS396 should. The matching numbers Turbohydramatic 400 automatic transmission shifts perfectly and the factory 3.36 12-bolt rearend provides relaxed high speed cruising.
