Comments:

1966 Sunbeam Tiger in beautiful Carnival Red with a black interior and alloy wheels. Gorgeous condition factory V8 car with only 62,242 actual miles!! The original Ford 260 V8 is completely stock with the exception of the 4-barrel Holley carburetor and matching Ford intake manifold in place of the original two barrel. Fires right up and settles into a deep aggressive exhaust note from the dual stainless steel free-flow exhaust. Runs nicely on pump gas and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. The factory four speed transmission shifts perfectly and the factory 2.78 rearend provides relaxed high speed cruising. The original Ford shifter operates smoothly and the gearbox synchronizers and bearings are excellent. These are very quick cars and were the brainchild of Carroll Shelby; brother to his AC Cobras. Power front disc brakes provide powerful stopping and rack & pinion steering for precise handling. Lovely black bucket seat interior with the factory center console. Factory 140 mph speedometer, factory 5000 RPM tachometer, and factory Jaeger gauges for Oil Pressure/Water Temperature/& Fuel Level. Very nice original walnut dash. Very nice original walnut steering wheel. Original dealer installed Motorola radio; plays perfectly. Excellent original interior with no wear on the seats, no wear on the inner door panels, no wear on the carpets, and no sunfade on the instruments. One very small crack in the dash pad; very minor and not noticeable. Excellent body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any body filler or any patch panels anywhere. Original floor pans and original trunk pan in excellent condition. Extremely nice paint with no nicks, no chips and done in modern acrylic urethane base/clear in the factory correct code 39 Carnival Red. Excellent chrome bumpers front & rear. Excellent brightwork and stainless steel trim; all professionally polished. Dual chrome Talbot mirrors. Factory Quick-Flip chrome gas door. Original dealer installed alloy wheels; media blasted, refinished, and fitted with brand new P185-70-13 Yokohama radials. The trunk is show detailed and contains the original fiberboard shelf, spare tire, jack assembly, and tonneau cover. Brand new battery, brand new stainless steel exhaust system, and the car was just professionally detailed, block sanded, polished, and hand waxed. Extremely good running car and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Very VERY nice car. ...and yes, the miles are actual at only 62,242!!

-Note: Unfortunately some Alpines have been cloned into Tigers. This is a genuine Tiger; the FE as the the last two chassis numbers designates Ford Engine (found on Tigers only).
