1966 Olds 442 4-speed in show-quality correct Tropic Turquoise paint with a Pearl White interior, chrome SS1 wheels, and Firestone Redline tires. Stunning North Carolina car in a gorgeous factory color combination with only 48,671 miles. The original 400 cubic inch / 350 horsepower engine is still fitted with the original Rochestor Quadrajet carburetor, original cast iron intake manifiold, original exhaust manifolds, original B-casting heads, and has been rebuilt 3,000 miles ago with a W30 cam & an MSD electronic ignition installed. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with that great sounding cam and deep aggressive exhaust note from the dual Flowmasters. Runs nicely on pump gas and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. PULLS HARD through the rev range and runs like a high performance Olds should. The original M20 4-speed manual transmission shifts perfectly, a new clutch has been installed, and the factory 3.23 positraction rearend allows relaxed high speed cruising. Power steering and huge drum brakes; steers easy and stops with authority. Professionally reupholstered Pearl White bucket seat interior with the center console and factory Hurst floor shifter. Brand new correct Legendary seat covers front & rear, brand new inner door panels front & rear, brand new white headliner, brand new black full carpet kit. The dash was sent to Just Dashes in California and has been restored to brand new condition (they do phenomenal work). Excellent original steering wheel, excellent console mounted Vacuum Gauge (works correctly), and correct factory AM radio in place (barely works). Original North Carolina super straight body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any body filler or patch panels. Original rear quarters, original trunk pan, original floor pans. Show quality paint done in correct L-code Tropic Turquoise base/clear urethane acrylic with a mirror-like shine and a smooth finish. No nicks, no chips, and this color is gorgeous (similar to Chevrolet's Marina Blue). Brand new chrome bumpers front & rear. Brand new chrome tail light bezels. Brand new chrome side fender vents. Brand new door handles. Brand new weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk molding. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Correct dual chrome mirrors. Brand new dual Flowmaster exhaust with dual trumpet tips. Brand new chrome Oldsmobile SS1 wheels fitted with correct Firestone Redline tires. The trunk has been correctly splatter painted and contains the original spare tire, jack assembly, and trunk mat. Just professionally detailed, polished, hand waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Runs & drives very well. EXTREMELY NICE CAR!!
