1966 Olds 442 L69 TriPower in correct Provincial White with red pinstripes, red bucket seat interior, and chrome SS1 wheels. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL TRI-POWER 4-SPEED CAR WITH ONLY 57,577 ACTUAL MILES!! The original 400 cubic inch Tri-Power engine is still fitted with the factory cast iron intake manifold, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, and triple Rochester 2-barrel carburetors with the chrome lidded foam aircleaners. Upgrades include a Mallory Unilite electronic ignition and W30 D-casting heads. The engine has just been professionally overhauled, balanced, and blueprinted by Benzenhoeffer Performance and a Mondello 308 degree hydraulic cam installed along with new lifters, timing chain & gears, bearings, and .30 over 10.5:1 forged pistons. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note from the dual FlowMasters and that great sounding cam. ABSOLUTELY NAILS YOU BACK IN THE SEAT WHEN YOU PUNCH IT AND HAS INSTANTANEOUS THROTTLE RESPONSE!! Easily producing 400 horsepower, this car is a lot of fun to drive yet runs nicely on premium pump gas, idles at 800 RPM, and is tractable enough to take on a family cruise. The M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission shifts perfectly via the correct Hurst shifter and the 12-bolt 3.91 AntiSpin positraction rearend provides incredible acceleration while allowing reasonably relaxed high speed use. Power steering and huge drum brakes for safe easy driving. Gorgeous Bright Red bucket seat interior. Excellent red seat covers front and rear, excellent red door panels, excellent white headliner. The factory red steering wheel is in excellent condition with no wear on the rim, no cracks, and there is no wear on any of the controls. No wear on the pedals and the red carpet is excellent. Excellent original dash with no warping, no heat cracks, and no sunfade on the instruments. The original AM radio is still in place and the factory 6000 RPM tachometer works perfectly. An underdash trio of vintage RAC gauges from the '60s for Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Amps all work properly and look period correct. Incredible no-rust body with no dents, no dings, no waves. I cannot find any body filler and all metal is factory original. All gaps are factory perfect and panel fit is excellent. Gorgeous paint in correct C-C code Provincial White with correct hand painted red pinstripes done in modern urethane base/clear to show standards. Excellent chrome bumpers front and rear. Excellent brightwork and all stainless has been polished. Rechromed tail light bezels in beautiful condition. All brand new 442 emblems. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Excellent weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk seal. Red inner fender wells done in the W30 motif. Factory chrome SS1 wheels fitted with P195-70-14 front and P235-60-14 rear raised-white-letter Hoosier radials. The trunk contains the original spare tire, jack assembly, and trunk mat. Trophies for first, second, and third place finishes from three major car shows in the Chicago area are included with the car. Just professionally detailed, polished, hand waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. A trophy contender at any show entered and easily one of the most powerful cars at any cruise.
