Comments: 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix 2-door hardtop in beautiful Burgundy paint with a Pearl White bucket seat interior, factory fender skirts, and factory 8-lug wheels. Absolutely gorgeous 389 4-barrel Grand Prix 4-speed car with only 40,275 actual miles, from Florida, and with all of the original sales papers, full Pontiac Historical Society documentation, and full ownership history since new. The original 389 / 333 horsepower 10.5 : 1 compression WE code engine is 100% factory stock and still fitted with the original Carter AFB four barrel carburetor, original air cleaner assembly, original cast iron intake manifold, and original exhaust manifolds connected to a dual free flow exhaust. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note. Pulls hard through the rev range and feels like a luxury muscle car; sharing the same factory high performance drivetrain with the GTO. There are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises; and runs nicely on pump gas. The factory M20 4-speed manual transmission shifts perfectly and the factory 3.23 rear end provides relaxed high speed cruising. Beautiful Pearl White bucket seat interior with the center console and factory Hurst shifter. Very nice original wood trim. Factory Lucite steering wheel in very good condition. Factory AM radio. Factory 8000 RPM tachometer. Excellent dash with one heat crack; covered with a dash mat. Original buckets seats, original rear seat, original inner door panels; all Pearl White and in excellent condition. The original red carpets are in good condition but are starting to show their age. Excellent body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any body filler or patch panels. Very nice paint in the correct N-N code Burgundy with a deep luster and a smooth finish. Excellent chrome bumpers front & rear. Excellent brightwork and stainless steel trim. Excellent tail panel and front grilles. Factory fender skirts. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. Excellent weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk molding. The trunk has been correctly splatter painted and contains the original spare tire, jack assembly, and rubber trunk mat. Factory 8-lug wheels with the polished trim rings and chrome center caps fitted with correct white wall radials. Just professionally detailed, polished, hand waxed, and turnkey ready for cruises and shows. Runs & drives very well with a smooth ride, tight front end, and no play in the suspension. All paperwork from when new is with the car (sticker price $4182.31) along with the original Sales Brochures, original pamphlets, Pontiac Historical Society documentation, Build Sheet, and ownership history from 1965 to now. VERY VERY NICE CAR!! ...and yes, the miles really are only 40,275!!
